1. Overview
SMIGAO Performance ("SMIGAO," "we," "us," or "our") is a private performance and nutrition planning system. It is designed to combine information you choose to provide with information you authorize from connected services so you can review training, recovery, and nutrition context in one place.
This public website does not display personal health metrics. The protected connection service and private agent handle authorized information separately from the public website.
SMIGAO is an informational planning tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace advice from a qualified professional.
2. Data we collect
Information you provide
This may include your goals, planned activities, food logs, macro targets, body-composition measurements, preferences, and messages you send to the private agent.
Information from WHOOP
If you choose to connect WHOOP and approve access, SMIGAO may receive the categories you authorize, which can include:
- cycle and day-strain information;
- recovery information, including recovery score, heart rate variability, and resting heart rate;
- sleep information, including timing and duration;
- workout information, including activity type, timing, heart rate, energy estimates, and strain; and
- body measurements, such as height, weight, and maximum heart rate.
The exact information available depends on the permissions shown during authorization and the information present in your WHOOP account.
Connection and technical information
The protected connection service processes the temporary authorization code returned by WHOOP and stores access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the connection. Hosting and security systems may also process limited request information, such as timestamps, IP addresses, browser type, and error logs.
3. How data is used
We use authorized information only to operate and improve the private SMIGAO experience, including to:
- connect and maintain the services you request;
- summarize recovery, sleep, training, and nutrition context;
- support personalized daily planning and conversations;
- calculate or review targets and progress you ask about;
- protect the system, investigate errors, and prevent misuse; and
- respond to support, access, or deletion requests.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your health-related information for advertising or to build advertising profiles.
5. Storage, retention, and security
Credentials and personal health information are intended to be kept on protected systems rather than in this public website. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
We keep information only while it is needed to operate the connection, provide requested features, maintain security records, or meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably possible.
Service providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
6. Your choices and rights
You control whether to connect WHOOP. You may revoke the connection through WHOOP or ask us to disconnect it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an explanation of how your information is handled.
To request access or deletion, email gverdizago@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request before acting. Disconnecting a service stops future collection through that connection; limited records may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or where retention is legally required.
7. Other information
Children
SMIGAO is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the system changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
